The anti-intellectualism of the United States

is understandable given the history of this country and education’s place as a bastion of the upper classes usually. It’s also understandable given the country’s strong religious history with the Abrahamic religion Christianity, one of the world’s most anti-intellectual religions.

But come on, Republicans, you can’t just go around denying science! I mean, it’s nothing new and there’s been a long history of religious fundamentalism denying science, but when its as essentially proven as evolution, and as important as global warming, you’re just a drain on the progress of society.

We should think critically and wish to know as much we can. We have to be life long learners, those are much better values and the religious right espouses.
